What Is SBA Form 468.2?
SBA Form 468.2, Partnership Annual Financial Report is a form used by Small Business Investment Companies (SBICs) for submitting a yearly financial report to the Small Business Administration (SBA). Filing the form is required for all SBIC organized as limited partnerships and needs to be submitted every year within 3 months after the end of the fiscal year.

The SBA Form 468.3 (Partnership Quarterly Financial Report) is a related form used by SBIC Partnerships for submitting quarterly financial reports to the SBA.
SBA Form 468.2 Instructions
Both SBIC partnerships and SBIC corporations must use the SBA-provided electronic reporting software for submitting their yearly reports. SBICs that are organized as partnerships must use version 3.6 of the software. The provided software will work only on PCs running Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
Users that unable to download the electronic reporting software may request a physical copy on CD-ROM by mailing the SBA Office of Investment at email@example.com. The subject line must read “Request for SBIC Reporting Software” and the email must include the user’s complete mailing address and the type of software requested.
A complete report must contain the data files and two printed sets of the schedules generated through the electronic reporting software, the supplementary Excel spreadsheets, two copies of the Operating Plan Update narrative, the Independent Auditor's Report, and the Notes to Financial Statements.
The SBA may impose a late filing penalty of $100 per day for every day the report is late (under Section 315(a) of the Small Business Investment Act of 1958).
